It is part of a series that included an Explorer Bass, Flying V, Les Paul Double Cut and a Les Paul. They came in very bright unusual colors and they all had Explorer Headstocks. The Explorer was a little smaller than a regular model had a extra cut on the bottom where your knee would rest in and the 1985 models had all Black Hardware.
